Leadership education does not occur in a vacuum. Meta messages about how leaders should behave and how they can succeed are at least as important as the content of the lectures, trainings and readings a leadership candidate undertakes. Through immersion in the cultures and values of five Nordic countries, Scholars are surrounded with societal messaging about personal autonomy coupled with societal responsibility, about collaboration and human-centered decision making.
