Nordic Scholars Leadership Program — September 1-13, 2026
Our 2026 Program
The Nordic Scholars Leadership Program is a fully funded, immersive leadership program in the Nordic region for students and recent graduates who want to explore leadership beyond the classroom.
Each year, Nordic Scholars brings a small, highly selective cohort to the Nordics to learn directly from senior leaders across government, industry, academia, and civil society. Scholars explore how leadership, governance, and collaboration work in practice—while also developing the judgment, self-awareness, and leadership capacity needed to navigate complex global challenges.
The program is intentionally multidisciplinary and cohort-based. Learning happens through a carefully designed mix of leader engagements, workshops, site visits, structured reflection, and peer learning. Scholars learn not only from Nordic leaders, but also from one another.
In 2025, the program piloted with University of Washington students drawn from 12 different majors and minors. The pilot attracted over 90 applicants, with approximately 9% admitted, creating a dynamic, cross-disciplinary learning community.
